I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a senior candidate in training in the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis.. I work with individuals 18 years and older, providing therapy/counselling and psychoanalysis. The work that we do will be aimed at reflecting on the challenges you are experiencing and why you are experiencing them. We will work to learn about the censors you place on yourself, and remove what prevents you from developing and feeling fulfilled. Our aim will be to develop reflective skills that grow stronger with use over time and can be used in your everyday life. I work with a broad range of issues. These may include: abuse, addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, academic issues, body image, etc. I also have a doctorate in philosophy, and this informs the attitude I bring to my therapeutic practice: non-judgmental, inquisitive, open, and interested in the other.
